Not really. Rubio loves running his mouth. A million people voted for Trump in the FL GOP primary. His career is over without their support. He knows that. And taht is why he hates Trump.
So what's the plan, spend 3 years building a Trump Party and then bring him back (assuming they don't put the "disqualification to hold and enjoy any Office of honor, Trust or Profit" clause on him)?

Most elected Republicans DESPISE Trump, because, among other things, he’s holding them to their platform.
However, Trump will only be impeached when enough elected Republicans believe that they can throw him out of office, and then survive their next election. Right now, I’m not sure that a single Republican in either chamber believes that. That day can still come, but it will take an event beyond their control, such as Trump turning left (such as supporting ‘Comprehensive Immigration Reform’)...at which point we won’t care if he’s removed.
Short of that, and there are no clues that day is coming, we will have his back and the elected Republicans understand that there would be hell to pay if they try to remove him - which is why they have not to date, and will not.
