My Otter box was getting stretched out and hazy on the overlay. I took it out until I got a replacement Otter Box. My four year old Galaxy lasted one day unprotected. Shattered to bits.

I have one, that uses TracFone.

It the most reliable cell phone we/I have owned.

My first phone was the old Moto half brick/flip phone. It survived falls, an 8 ft drop to the bottom of a lake and other bad events. I stopped using it as it embarassed my family members and friends. My wife used it as a door stop for awhile.

praised the "plastic construction" of the Samsung Galaxy S5 with helping it to survive the fall "in great shape with nothing really broken.

Unlike my stinking iPhone whose glass breaks if I even look at it funny.

In my experience, falling a great distance is not a big deal. It’s the landing that gets you.
