Why wasn’t this controversial 99 years ago, 80 years ago, 50 years ago, 20 years ago. What has brought on this sudden sensitivity

It’s just another way to bring down our country. We’re being chipped away to make room for the muslim takeover.

Not so surprising when you look at how things were 99 or 80 or even 50 years ago.

Of course, politics fuels a lot of what's going on now, but given that monuments went up and streets were named back in the segregation era, it's not surprising that sooner or later there would be agitation to take down the statures and rename the streets.

They are losing everywhere, so they are going for broke.
Let’s break them.

Your question is right on point. Is it rhetorical? Do you have theory?

Here's mine:

99 years ago, up to 20 years or so ago, the empirical data could be explained away by legal separation and insufficient resources.

This is no longer the case. Therefore, explanations are increasingly tendentious, and increasingly frantic. Your choices lie between the forbidden and the self-hating.

It is making white people crazy.

The direct consequence of younger generations not learning/knowing true history in perspective.

People like me pointing out that the slavers, segregationists and KKK are all democRAT. And that neither Debbie "Washrag" Schultz, Hitlary nor Burnie could tell you the difference between a socialist and a RAT.

They are trying to eradicate their embarrassing history, notice how they have recently disassociated themselves from Jackson and Jefferson as their figureheads. (Never hesitate to remind them of Klansman Robert Byrd).

Some of the blacks actually think Lincoln was a democrat. The RATs are probably afraid of losing the black voting bloc since Trump started speaking to them, asing them "what have you got to lose?". They can't afford to lose both the black vote and the Mexican vote.

(See my tagline)

I'm of the opinion it happened because we allowed the commies to take over our schools and universities... We have allowed them to brain wash our kids starting at a very young age.. In some states the kids go to the government school as young as four years old. The welfare Mommy's don't want to take care of the kids they get PAID for having... That's why they always ALWAYS vote for the dimocraps.....

MHO......
