Here is a thought.....Jim Robinson could look into starting his own small or medium webhosting business with servers and services ...be a “godaddy” for businesses and constitutionally minded organizations....he can increase revenue...keep Freerepublic open (and the other lib “godaddys mentioned can’t on a whim knock him off line)!
I don’t want to belabor the point as I have to get back to work, but if I, those working for me, or my customers become aware of the flag you fly, the hate you expouse online or in writing, or the protests you participate in, yes, I will fire you. And good riddance. Call it an unwritten morals clause, a compact we have, but at the end of the day I will not hire or employ someone filled with hate, a sex offender, a terrorist, etc. Just like drugs, you can do whatever you want on your own time—legal or not—but actions have consequences, one of which is that an employer may opt to not employ you.
You are wrong to apply the A leads to B and then C. At the end of the day we are Americans, blocking out the hate of Nazis, Islam, and Confederate flags does not mean we then block the American flag. That is ridiculous and nonsensical. People only do that we they deny being Americans, when they oppose or reject America. Besides, the majority of people saying no to Nazi, Islamic, or Confederate flags, for example, are not doing so as a stepping stone to banning the American flag. Quite the opposite.

I see your point. I actually semi agree, that people should have the right to fire for nearly anything. However, what if your customers didn’t like blacks or Jews? You can’t just avoid black or Jewish applicants.

If someone doesn’t like blacks or Jews working for me, they can go elsewhere. Good riddance to them. Race, gender, age, religion, etc. have no place in this. Well, mostly. If someone is Islamic, fine. If they promote the hate and evil of it, no. Same with participating in BLM or JDL, that goes beyond being member of a group. Actions, which are a choice, have consequences.
