Unfortunately this is another industry that has pretty much gone by the way side because of consumerism and throw away mentality. Unless it’s computers it’s hard to find someone who does “real” electronic repair anymore and the cost can sometimes outweigh just buying a new one.

They stuck us on this one for sure.

Went to Radio Shack for an op-amp, and the girl looked at me like I was speaking Latin. Hell they didn't even have any electronic components. Soon after that the store went out of business. Now a lot of electronic devices are made in such a way that it's impossible to do component level work. My brother in-law is an electronic genius, when I get stuck he can always find out what is wrong with a circuit.
