“NO man knows the time or the day except God in heaven. Anyone who tells you different is a liar”

Just yesterday over lunch at Golden Corral, I mentioned that same verse to a friend of mine who responded with “that’s true but it doesn’t say anything about the season”.

“A season?” I asked. “WWI & WWII could have been considered a “season” but it didn’t happen. There were other times of great civil and political conflict that could have been considered a season but we’re not.”

So, I have started my research into the applicability of his season statement. I still think that the verse of not knowing the day or the hour includes events leading up to that day & hour. but I will do my best to validate that belief. Jesus said it, let’s be clear, Jesus did in fact state that. This didn’t come from a charlatan, or someone who reads animal guts, or tea leaves, or looks up into the sky and sees patterns that no one else can because they’re not there. This came directly from Jesus I’m putting my faith in the word of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and no one will know. To think otherwise is a waste of precious time that we have here on Earth to continue the work and commission that was given to us by our Lord Jesus Christ.

I will endeavor to ascertain if that hisvwas an accurate response or not (concerning the season). What say you?

[[So, I have started my research into the applicability of his season statement.]]

see post 63- you might want to research that concept instead- as it appears Christ was not talking about man not knowing the hour of raPTURE, But rather the hour of His second coming- post 63 lays out the basics for that concept- and walks you through the relevant verses to back up the concept- It’s always been a standard reply when speaking of the rapture “No man knows the hour” but apparently The disciples weren’t even aware of the rapture concept just then- and Christ was talking about His second coming at that point, not the rapture- I went for many years thinking Christ was speaking of the rapture too- but now it appears He wasn’t? Worth investigating further
