I agree. But it’s like Bannon said, “if anyone believes the establishment is going to give up without a fight they are mistaken”. Part of the fight is manipulating the discussion to try and take out Trump’s team. That’s what the Flynn thing was, and it’s what the McMaster thing is. The Thomas Wictor tweets are a view from 10,000 feet of the weeds on the ground. He shows so much of the “news” (weeds) about McMaster is contradictory. The problem is people getting stuck staring at weeds and ignoring the big picture.
Perhaps, but to be completely mercenary, maybe that's a good thing. That is, while some/many are wasting their time and/or emotional energy, the smart money is already preparing for more economic activity and financial rewards.
By way of example, it's customary to leave Dodger games early. Why, to beat the traffic of course. By the 7th inning, unless the game is close, interesting and/or important, it's just not worth getting stuck.
Same true with these palace shenanigans; it's all over except for the crying (by the left). Trump isn't going anywhere, in fact, just like Midway marked the end of Japan's 6 month offensive, the realization that the tide has changed will be reflected when everyone gets back to town.
The astute have already figuratively headed for the (DC) exits; there's money to be made, fun to be had, and MAGA to be enjoyed.
“The Thomas Wictor tweets are a view from 10,000 feet of the weeds on the ground. “
Interesting analogy. And from 10,000 feet, you can’t very will see the grass burrs have taken over the lawn. These lofty opinions are merely the opinions of players who have helped make the swamp what it is. Think on that.
Trump wasn’t elected to take us back to the policies of that idiot Bush administration, as much as the GOP works to convince themselves of that.
