17:03:02 blue jay lands on feeder; two sparrows fly
The tree outside the bedroom was solid on the outside of the tree, but we had the gardener slice straight up the tree next to the house when we built the addition, so the inside of the tree was completely visible. The parents felt safe leaving their babies there, so it was wondrous videotaping. Particularly notable: one bird knocks another bird out of the air; a baby bird emerges from a hot house and makes its first flight; swans landing on a lake thru trees; a little bird making its way past a larger sleeping bird in a winter feeder; an oriole trying to bash its way in thru the kitchen window; a squirrel getting caught in a feeder and getting out again.
Chopin was a fan of Mozart, but thought his “Don Giovanni” was somewhat barbaric. Just goes to show ya.
