I use a NetGear N300 Wi-Fi Range Extender, been working great for two years now. I watch Netflix or play games on my tablet at the opposite end of the house from my office and modem. Plugs into the wall, easy setup.
I use the same model. Flawless and trouble-free. Excellent coverage, even though it is 150-feet from the router station (at the barn- so no interior walls).
I’ve always had good results from NETGEAR.
