Find out the name of the variety (bi-color, super-sweet hybrid, etc.) ..
and grow some next year for yourself ..
about 10 days apart, and have successive crops throughout next summer.

The ground around the Lake of the Ozarks is simply too rocky to grow a corn crop.
25 miles north of here, Mennonites raise fantastic veggies in real soil. Ditto south around Lebanon.
We can get by with a dozen ears for $4.00 at Farmers market.
