My fickle mind this week says to change the tagline frequently. So I did.
*tagline*
Good morning! I hope you feel better once it’s light!
Boys should start turning up any minute. Today’s first excitement will be taking Shannon to the vet. Later, Elen will go to the dentist. Somewhere in there, I’ll walk the Reeds’ dog.
Tom starts work tomorrow. I’ll give him a couple of weeks of watching half his pay go to payroll taxes before I hit him up for auto insurance.
LOL!
I suspect I will feel better in the daylight. I walked down and put a note on Charlie's door to let him know the BB SUV is in Coventry, and voiced the hope that he might be able to take the shuttle to the bank this morning.
He hasn't been walking much, so I don't know if he'll walk to Walmart or wait for the next shuttle. I really hope he doesn't try to walk home, as it's uphill all the way.
I hear Kitteh saying “NO MORE MONDAYS THIS WEEK!!!!”
My son once said, "I never look at the gross and the withholdings, I just look at the net." I said, "Then you're part of the problem."
Srsly, I wish everyone had to write quarterly checks like I do to the IRS and then watch the gubmint flush it down the toilets of a bunch of drug addicts here in NYC.
Sanctuary much.
Well, most of the illegals here are risking their lives riding bikes at breakneck speeds to deliver sushi to wealthy urbanites who want social justice but don’t want to pay to have their dinners delivered.
The flushed money comes from the citizens who learned after multiple generations that you go to school, get pregnant, go on disability, and live life in a slum with everything paid for by Uncle Obama (or his surrogates).
But, don’t worry about them. Uncle Obama’s cousin Bill is working hard to make sure they get better housing. Still paid for by someone else, of course.
Here I sit in McDonald’s with my large $1 coffee (yep, even in Manhattan) and they’re running some acoustic station, which is pretty cool. I’m listening to an acoustic version of Sting singing “Roxanne” and it’s pretty cool, until it breaks into a jazz riff with a trombone solo.
Whatsupwiddat?
They were playing recent Taylor Swift songs and that ghastly cover of “Let It Go” by that girl, whatshername, at the vet. I liked it better when they had classical piano.
Shannon gained weight again.
Oddly, for some reason, I want to go someplace this morning. Just, ANYWHERE!
I could walk to 7/11 for coffee, if I could actually walk slowly uphill to save my breath. I have one walking speed outdoors: The one designed to eat up the miles between where I am and where I need to go.
“delicious souls!”
LOL!
There’s no such thing as a harmless little kitten.
OK, Ganag, here’s the latest chapter in the saga of the Gas Guzzler.
The fix appears to be much simpler than any of us thought. With help, I found that there is a hole in a gas line. The fix is to remove the line from a bracket and cut it off at the offending hole, then re-clamp it to the fuel injector.
*happy dance*
How cool is that? I’ll take a no-dollar repair any day.
Yay!
Yessir! And my neighbor, Charlie, feels like he has to “do something” to pay me back for feeding him on occasion, so this way, he can rescue a damsel (sorta) in distress.
The only thing he was concerned with was if he and his old bones had to get down on the ground to effect the repairs, or if he could do it from the top. The latter will work with a small wrench, a sharp utility knife and a blade screwdriver. And I have those!
I hope it works out successfully for all of you.
Updates at 1100!
I’m off to bed for now. And why its taken so long to come about is beyond me.

Meet an idiot who thinks that boycotting the NFL for supporting BLM and antifa somehow is supporting BLM and antifa?
