You may consider my views as simplistic. That is your opinion. I strongly doubt you have spent the hours, days, and years I have studying the Franco-Prussian War, World War I and World War II on the battle sites and in the archives in France, Belgium and Luxembourg. I consider your views simplistic and German oriented. So we are even. As far as the Versailles Treaty is concerned, it should have been enforced! Germany should never have been allowed to rebuild its military!

And this is why I post mostly humor. While I admit to a bit of pro German sentiment, if you don't think the statement that Germany invaded France three times in seventy years isn't a bit simplistic I guess I must sarcastically defer to your wisdom. As to your implied superiority in learning... You are obviously a francophile, which I do not disparage, just be aware that there are no good guys or bad guys in European history. There is much to love about French culture, and I hope to return their before all the great building and works of art are torn down or painted over by the new owners.
