Someone mentioned this show on a previous thread and I couldn't resist following up. Got hooked and built a set of vids. This one might amuse you. It is, indeed, a very strange show.

Farscape was a good series.
It had to watched from the pilot on for things to make sense later.

Yesterday was the last day of first grade for my daughter. She showed me her report card. She got top marks in all her math categories. He language skills were low but I am told that is not unusual for a child learning two languages (German & English). We are going to work extra on that in the new school year.
But still, top grades in math, for a 7 year-old girl! :)

The New Math was long before my time... Or to be more specific, it was already being taught in schools when I was growing up.
But maybe it could be altered for common core...

An Australian production by Jim Henson Entertainment, with Aussies and puppets in major roles but an American actor as lead, Farscape, was loaded with wild characters and crazy set-ups. One could never be sure what was going to happen next. Farscape worked though and developed a reliable audience, but fell victim before its time to rising production costs and changing leadership at the SciFi Channel.

Always loved Tom Lehrer’s parodies, as well as Isaac Asimov’s writing, science fiction and fact.
A real pity that both of them are about 3 steps to the left of Barky Oblamer.
