You could. I just copy the recipe & plunk it into HC, then put “Source:” with the link. There is a caveat to links ....

One thing that would be an improvement to HC would be to make the links “live” in the recipe. My EZ Addressbook is that way - I can go to any person/business or whatever, click the link to their website if they have one & it takes me there. On HC, the links are “dead” - I have to go into ‘edit’ so I can copy it, then paste it into my browser. Because there are two big unstructured fields for where you can drop in a recipe using copy/paste (one for ingredients, one for directions), there is no separate field that can be made “live” for a link. On the EZ Addressbook, there is a spot specifically for ‘websites’ & that is why it can be made to go directly to the website when you click on it.

Actually, if you just want “links”, you could use EZ!! You can open multiple databases ... why not one for recipes? I have one for my addresses and one for crochet & knit patterns. You can have up to 10 tags per ‘address’ or in my case, ‘pattern’. For example, say it’s a mitten/glove pattern, I can designate it as ‘knit’, ‘lace’, ‘fingerless’, ‘gift’, ‘PDF’. I can also add a picture of the item (or person for addresses). The ‘note’ areas are probably big enough to actually copy/paste a recipe; however, printing them isn’t much of an option - that is where HC is really good. You can also put EZ on 3 computers - reasonable price, too. Just a thought.

Does anyone have any good uses for coriander seed? I have lots of cilantro this year and some of it is flowering. I can let it go but have not used the seed much unless anyone has a yummy purpose. Thanks.

I’m saving that recipe, JT! Yes, I think the lad was holding back! This recipe with the wine reduction makes me not give up! I’m going to try it, maybe even this week.

One of the greatest recipes I’ve ever tried is a simple Balsamic Vinegar/Butter reduction sauce, for steak. I think it would work divinely on a hamburger :-)
