It would be funnier if someone photoshopped chugging Schulz into the background!

Word for the day haiku:
If the left ever
tries to propitiate Trump,
bring lots of popcorn!
To: xsmommy; imardmd1
I think imardmd1 is referring to the etymology summary where the word propritiation is mentioned as part of the origin of the word propitiate, and legitimately so. So, no worries, your record for 2017 as a mistake-free year still stands!

We packed up work at 12-working outdoors on an arbor and gazebo in the sun at 90+ is not a part of proper work safety...
W. Bush tried to propitiate
Media vultures one and all-
In return they spent 8 years
Helping democrats to stall
Everything he wanted to do
Having diluted it all instead
Then the media spent 8 years
With king Obama in his bed
Now they are all so outraged
As they howl and pitch a fit
Every day when pres Trump
Won’t put up with their s***

I’m so glad to hear you are doing so great-there seems to be an epidemic of good results-a neighbor up the road just finished PT and is back to his routine, too-he’d torn a shoulder muscle at work.

Spoke too soon. New pain from PT in my knee. Still, it will be gone in day or two at most. Price I have to pay for progress.

I have to propitiate surgeons all day long. Very needy and high maintenance for the most part.
We have a new dog, adopted from the shelter. He's a beauty but has lots of issues that need training. Fully housebroken, can sit on command, doesn't like men. Good jogger, TONS of energy, won't need grooming, but skittish. So we did the take a chance on me program to try him for 5 days, once I was able to return the foster kittens to the shelter. I was told I'd have to keep them 2-3 weeks and it turned into 7 weeks. My daughter got very attached. They were adopted within 2 days so we were happy someone saw how sweet they were. It's kitten season so what usually costs $50 is free now. Bargain.
The dog is half Aussie, half border collie. He sleeps nicely in his crate and I put him in there when I have to go out. He was in there 6 hours yesterday while everyone was at work and did fine. Wish me luck on the dog training!
