us too! My husband was able to semi retire at 59 b/c we saved our $$ and always lived below our means. No where near millionaires but we’ll always be comfy.
More or less the same here. Hubby retired at 53. Me at 58. We’re very comfortable but still very smart about not wasting money. Our house is paid for and we pay cash for about 1 year old cars when we need one. I’m driving an 11 year old Jaguar and hubby is driving a 5 year old Mercedes SUV. We have a 40 ft sailboat that is paid for. All upgrades to our house, etc we pay cash for. People in lots worse shape than us think we’re rich. We’ve just been really smart with money and are now very comfy.
