I work in New Jersey and every single person in my office spent at least five minutes talking about Christie on the beach.

To my mind, the less time contemplating Chris Christie on a beach, the better...

This is the sort of thing that sticks with people. Like the Bridge thing. People cared about that, even though it was about nothing.

People don’t understand politics, so they grab onto something they can understand. Screwing up traffic for political payback, they understand. Sunning yourself on a beach you just ordered closed on the 4th of July weekend, that they understand.

Christie could not be elected to anything before this... whatever the hell this is. The only question is whether or not he drags Kim Guadagno down with him.

Is he he tanking Guadagno on purpose?

AMEN!!! to that.

I know it has been a while, but I truly believed the House Banking Scandal would have drained the swamp because we ALL know that the bank does not pay, then hold onto your check until you get around to making a deposit to cover it.

And your local PO/Bank does not sell you a book of 6 3 cent stamps and allow you to pay for it with a constituents 100 dollar check.

It doesn’t matter how well your bank ‘knows’ you, they just can’t take a chance of a surprise audit ‘tomorrow’.

That is what happens when you get to write the rules.

Along about the same time the CC Cos came up with the brilliant idea of consolidating cards....

Of course one Cong Jim Moron (D-VA) was on the banking committee and soon after the Legislation relaxing the rules of who could get credit etc passed, something ‘leaked’ out about Moron(sic) getting SEVERAL CCs consolidated, then ‘forgiven’.....

Which ‘they’ may have offered that to all BUT it is kind of ‘different’ when the guy writing the rules gets ‘treated’.
