President Donald Trump, in the leadup to the election and in the immediate aftermath of winning the White House, offered up fiery remarks about the voting trend of illegals and noncitizens, and how that trend has impacted U.S. elections in recent times remarks for which he was soundly critized and condemned, by Democrats and members of his own Republican Party.
Well, looks like Trump is being proven right. A nonpartisan research group in New Jersey, Just Facts, looked at the rate of noncitizen voting and found: in the 2008 election, as many as 5.7 million of them may indeed have cast ballots.
From the Washington Times:
Just Facts President James D. Agresti and his team looked at data from an extensive Harvard/YouGov study that every two years questions a sample size of tens of thousands of voters. Some acknowledge they are noncitizens and are thus ineligible to vote.
Just Facts conclusions confront both sides in the illegal voting debate: those who say it happens a lot and those who say the problem nonexistent.
For 2012, Just Facts said, 3.2 million to 5.6 million noncitizens were registered to vote and 1.2 million to 3.6 million of them voted.
He believes the Harvard/YouGov researchers based their zero claim on two flawed assumptions. First, they assumed that people who said they voted and identified a candidate did not vote unless their names showed up in a database.
This is illogical, because such databases are unlikely to verify voters who use fraudulent identities, and millions of noncitizens use them, Mr. Agresti said.

This is the only way to explain the Dems’ fierce resistance to voter ID laws. They know they’re padding the voter list with each election and they do not want the extent of this fraud to be discovered.
something is going to hit the fan very soon.
And, still Hillary didn't win.
Pray it is so.
Undeniable. Independent. Vindication.
We need voter ID an d both sides represent ted on the board.
And that was the 2008 number; had to be worse by last fall I’m sure.
Likely accurate. Likely inaccurate, the extremely understated 11 million “undocumented immigrants” living in the USA.
Before the last election California automatically registered their millions of illegals to vote when they handed them drivers licenses.
Of course he’s right. This should be the number one issue of 2018.
bkmk
No, it's the non-enforcement of immigration law that is changing the demographics and culture into something that is unrecognizable to America.
OK Democrats, if there is no voter fraud how about MANDATORY MINIMUM 10 years jail time for election fraud?
What about dead voters?
Herself could not capitalize on this margin of non-citizen and illegal voters because they were not sufficiently well-distributed throughout the electorates of various states, concentrating largely in California and New York.
Seemed to work in Colorado, though.
When are they going to admit that they had one, bunged up, lousy candidate??
Democrats are not just padding the votes.
Illegal aliens are being counted in the Census and used for the purpose of allocating Congressional districts. Using the low-ball number of 11 million illegal aliens, that is the equivalent to 15 congressional districts.
Voter ID alone won’t do it.
Most fraud is done with the registration process. Once you are registered, it’s easy to vote.
You have to crack down on the registration fraud. SEIU and the former ACORN people have registered tens, hundreds of thousands of illegals over the last 15 years.
11 million, lol? There are over a million in North Carolina alone.
