Frank Zappa must’ve seemed like he was from another planet in his era, but I have a number of friends who are classically trained musicians and they all absolutely love them some Zappa.
I actually thought Zappa was classically trained for the longest time, but it turns out he was entirely self-taught. Another sign of what a genius he was. I was lucky enough to have seen him a few times, most notably on the tour following the release of Apostrophe. Awesome show.
