I voted for President Nixon and I watched the Watergate hearings. This attempt to revise reality is the silliest thing I have heard in a long time. Nobody plants bugs if they only want to recover evidence.
If Maureen Dean had been a call girl and the Democrats had the blackmail evidence, it would have been shouted to the rooftops by the Democrats at the Watergate hearings. This is typical Liddy pulling the wool over the eyes of idiot journalists for the sheer pleasure of it.
