It also takes a LOT longer for the old body to get back in the swing.

I had a hernia repair in my early 20’s, and was back to normal within 3 weeks. I was playing darts 3 days after the surgery.

In my 50’s, I had the same thing done on the other side. I was bedridden for over a week, and couldn’t work for a couple of months!
