I think your friend’s is a different type of story altogether. The play is a whole, prostitutes and all. What was she doing performing in it if she had a problem with the depiction of prostitution?
Maybe I wasn’t clear. She was offered the role but when she found out that it involved performing in the prostitute scene and she read the lyrics, she turned it down. I’m guessing you have not seen or heard the song. It’s pretty explicit. I love the movie and the story but have not watched it yet with my teen age granddaughter because of that scene and one other.
