Sessions recused himself from the Russia investigation. He is not going to comment on it. The special counsel is under the deputy AG and not Sessions. Sessions does not have the ability to do or say anything on this subject.

The AG did a great job before the senate committee 48 hours ago, that is why they are leaking this to undercut the good effect of what SESSIONS did.
I’m tired of people accusing Sessions of having “no backbone” when he has more than all of you combined.

He wiped his ass with Congressional subpoenas and flipped Congress the bird. He wore his contempt charge like a badge of honor because he knew Obama had his back. And he was 100% correct! Obama exercised executive privilege and let Holder walk away scot-free. Because the Constitution allowed him to!

Holder would've never recused himself. Holder would've never allowed for a special counsel. And Eric Holder would NEVER have handed over control of HIS Justice Department to his Deputy AG. Most importantly, President Obama wouldn't have allowed him to.
