If Comey is now a central figure in leaking information to the press, I would think Mueller would need to recuse himself or resign as special counsel due to his prior relationship with Comey.
That will be the next shoe to drop.
Mueller was tainted long before Comey spoke. The SP should be fired as all Obama appointees should be.
This is simply one more of an increasingly long list of victories for President Trump. The longer Mueller remains as Special Prosecutor the better for Trump. This is especially true if, as is to be expected, Mueller goes after Trump. His bias will be visible to increasing numbers of Americans sick and tired of Unistate corruption.
Liberals are climbing higher and higher into the branches of the tree of their conceit. Branches are getting thinner and thinner. In time they will all gather on the tip of a topmost limb. Their sheer weight and numbers will bring them crashing down to the forest floor where they will be consumed by the carrion beetles.
Mueller said of his "good friend" James Comey that he was "One of the finest men I have ever known."
Mueller and Comey met behind closed doors before Comey's testimony, to discuss God knows what.
Comey broke the law by leaking to the NY Times, and then destroying his memos.
Comey specifically testified that he leaked to the NY Times to trigger a Special Counsel to go after President Trump, who just had fired him.
If all of that does not stink to high heaven, then nothing does.
I want to know whose bright idea it was to name Mueller as a SC.
Sessions and Rothstein are turning out to be doofuses in office on the big issues. First, Sessions abandons his duties on the the fake Russian story by recusing himself at the slightest criticism and then his Deputy, who was supposed to take over the investigation does the same by deciding to abdicate his duties to a special prosecutor. Now, it would be political suicide to dump these two and start over in DOJ.
But Mueller was appointed for one and only one reason - to get Trump, BECAUSE of his special relationship with Comey - and both parties in Congress are EXTREMELY happy about it.
Trump has two very poor choices - first, and probably the correct one, is to fire Mueller, fire Rosenstein, fire Sessions if need be, and take the heat; or, second - wait for Mueller’s inevitable charges, fight impeachment in the House and if he loses there (very likely with 193 Democrats and at least 25 Republicans voting to indict), and then fight conviction in the Senate.
There is a third choice - turn the table over - but I don’t think he will go that way.
Most of Comedy’s rambling incoherence was just sad, but this was one glimmering diamond among the squatty potty. He kicked the pins out under the Special Counsel appointment by revealing it a product of a deliberate subterfuge and conspiracy. Thus whatever conclusion Mueller reaches (which will be whatever Deep State warns him to reach) is auto-invalidated, like evidence gathered with an illegally obtained warrant.
Mueller would be wise to remember the Marine motto from my generation, payback’s a m’er f’er. Comey should be in jail for obstruction involving Hillary’s bathroom server. He is the one that shows intent.
One of Muellers former top FBI guys is now President of CrowdStrike Services, Shawn Henry.
Fix Is In: Comey Praised DNC-Hired Cybersecurity Firm Even After Botched Report
20 Mar 2017
Crowdstrike, the cybersecurity company working for the Democratic National Committee (DNC), released a report tying Russian hacking to an incident that never happened, yet even after the report had been debunked, FBI Director James Comey still referred to Crowdstrike as a highly respected private company at a Senate hearing.

Vanity - Robert Mueller must immediately recuse himself and step down!!!
Yeah...sure...right. Don’t hold your breath. D. Should just can his ass and be done with it. The country has wasted enough time and resources on this nothing burger.
As soon as Comey was praising Mueller highly during his testimony I knew that Mueller must be dirty.
The republicans in congress must put pressure on this charade to be ended although they probably will not do it.
We need to replace all of the RINOs.
Who fires the special prosecutor?
