He is wrong about bar soap being unsanitary. Bar soap is fine to use. There is bacteria found on bar soap but it is not likely to make you ill and washing with bar soap still gets you clean.

PS. In the interest of full disclosure, I make soap.

Isn’t bar soap more “green” than liquid soap? Liquid soap has a lot more plastic packaging?

A few years ago my wife brought home from Bible study a raft of boxed Irish Spring, from an old lady changing her ways. While maybe a dozen boxes, I didn’t tell her the supply will probably outlive me.
Yeah, I hate when the bar escapes to the swirling drain, but I figure it is screaming “FREEDOM”.....

There is bacteria found on bar soap but it is not likely to make you ill unless, of course you eat it.
