Yes, the DEA tried and there was such a protest from the kratom community that for the first time in history, the DEA backed off.

The battle isn’t over yet and we won’t go away.

The only reason it is on the DEA’s radar is because head shops and stores around the country started selling it and claiming it will get you high.

I started taking it a few months ago and read some stuff that made me laugh. That it causes hallucinations and an opiate like high. LOL!
