The NAACP held a news conference last week — as it typically does before Atlantic Beach Bikefest — warning area businesses not to close or refuse service to the largely black crowd that comes to the Myrtle Beach area over Memorial Day weekend.

That makes no sense. I cannot imagine why anyone would close their business when a large crowd of desirable customers was on its way. What could possibly motivate such a reaction? [Of course, if I had water heater trouble too, I'd reluctantly have to close on the holiday weekend out of an abundance of caution over sanitation.]

Well the NCAAP probably have their own plumber inspect the water heater.
