Never been made clearer than in this election.
The media is going after Trump and the Russian collusion thing without any proof or hard evidence at all for going on the better part of a year now. They're in the "prosecution" mode.
But with all kinds of unanswered questions in the Seth Rich murder and his alleged leaking of the DNC emails to Wikileaks, they curiously have no interest except to not cover the story at all or to throw people off the real path. They're in the "defense" mode.
The goal is to convict Trump and his inner-circle in the court of public opinion. At every turn of the whole issue the evidence that is known is far more damning to the DNC and Clinton’s - in fact, there is no chance of successful prosecution for anything at this point, but I would bet money the Clinton’s would be convicted.

Trump colluded with the Russians and he stands to make money off the “deals” he will make. I am not aware of any business interests he has in Russia. Other side - Clinton foundation receives 20 million, pledges for many million more to their “foundation” at same time HRC as Sec State hands down a decision handing over 20% of our uranium potentially (even likely) worth hundreds of millions of dollars to Russian business interests. Same Russian business interests pay her husband $500,000 for a 30 minute speech around same time. How much money has Trump received from Russia or his business interests there? Zero that I know of.
Trump’s inner circle were Russian lobbyists. Even this fact relies on very dated involvements and innuendo and rumor. Other side - Podesta’s brother has made real money lobbying for Russia.
Russia hacked the DNC and released emails embarrassing to the DNC through Wikileaks. Other side - all the evidence points to an insider, potentially one who was murdered no less in a very suspicious manner, being the source of the leaks.
This list could be a mile long but the time it is finished. Trump needs to fight back by demanding that an independent prosecutor investigates these REAL and documented events with the same passion the media has for the Russia story. This would send a big message right off the bat.
I would like to see an investigation of what happened to the funds donated for the relief of Haiti through the Clinton foundation as well. The U.S. government promoted the donations, but according to Haitian journalist and reputable sources the money was diverted (including taxpayer dollars) to FOB (Friends of Bill) and the Haitian people received very little.
Trump has to fight back and fight back big. Sessions needs to demand a full investigation of the previous administrations DOJ using the seizure and fines settlement fund as a slush fund for leftists causes. This violates the constitution as Congress has the powers of the purse strings - not DOJ appointees.
Trump needs to play by their rules. He is proud of his reputation as a New York styled brawler - it’s time to start swinging back.
