The decedent was conscious and breathing with apparent gunshot wound(s) to the back. The decedent was transported to local area hospital and was pronounced by attending physician at 0557 hours."
So what this tells us is that in addition to wearing body cameras capable of recording all events of Rich between when they found him and presumably when they gave him over to the paramedics.
Note that Rich's parents stated, "The officers who were there and they said 'Yeah, he was quite talkative, he did not realize he had been shot.'"
Okay, so a guy is shot in the back (unlike a mugging which likely would have been shot in the front) but the police didn't ask any questions? Didn't ask if he recognized the suspect?
How does anyone know a thumb drive wasn't stolen?
From the time line it seems that he pretty calmly told his girlfriend who was on the phone that he had to go. Nowhere does girlfriend suggest there was alarm or fear in Rich's voice, just telling her that he had to go.
To me, this suggests it is possible he may have known the attackers. The police certainly questioned him at the scene and probably at the hospital. Where is the official record of that?

Everyone was told to ‘stand down’...who told them that?????
And he would have been REAL talkative after surgery... they kept him induced into coma.
