I live out in the country and one day my dogs started reacting very strangely.
The chow chow, usually ferocious, started whining and hid his face into the ground. The springer spaniel started running in circles with her nose to the ground.
What I saw was four black rectangles several hundred feet away. A very large one, a somewhat smaller one, and then two others about half the size of the smaller one.
After several seconds the four black rectangles turned into something I have never seen before—a family of moose.
The moral of the story—we see what we expect to see, and if we encounter something unusual our brains take a while before processing it.
So I agree that extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and if you are skeptical I completely understand.
I have talked to people who have “seen the moose family”, as it were, so I think there is something here now—but good solid physical evidence that can withstand tough scrutiny—that is a whole other matter.
I have zero evidence that moose were on my property that day.
Did they bite your sister in the shower? :^)
Seriously, I had a similar experience one night after a bottle of Tequila....
