I've got cats, and wild birds, and wild possums and raccoons on the back porch...but I have been on a dog kick lately.

It all started when I watched A Dog's Purpose.

Ripped my fricken heart out. I am a tough mofo, but animals are my soft spot.

Have been thinking about adding a dog to the family.

Get a Border collie.. Best dogs alive! They are like having a person around without all the annoying qualities of people. Heh 😊 Your heart will melt! 😍🐾👍

American Bulldog.

The original bulldog before the English bread ‘em with a pug. Were in the colonies so didn’t get turned into a house pet. Get mixed up with pits, as pities are American bulldog and Terrier, love pities but AB’s are way more mellow, unless they have something to hunt, and then they are as good as it gets, but very relaxed otherwise. Actually the official dog of the Marine corps (although illustrations often picture English bulldogs).

My daughter just got back from the vet with her Golden Retriever, Sparky. He had a swelling on his leg that she wanted checked out.

Turns out, the Vet found swellings literally all over his body and says that Sparky has lymphoma.

I am sick about it.

Has anybody had a dog with this condition?
