It seems I repeat this every day now....
It seems a paradox, but you will never meet anyone as rigid, narrow-minded, and ideological as an “academic.”
Folks - it is not my “job” to give away. I perform a service for my employer who compensates me for the time I spend performing that service. The Company owns the jobs. Employees are people in position performing that job.
A motto I learned years ago is - You have to earn your right to be re-hired everyday.
BTW - If you don’t you end up ‘giving’ your job to an outsourcer in India.
