I am not a heavy duty user of Google Calendar, but do need it. Using something else for this application is not a choice. I get the message, "failed to save event" and "Oops, we couldn't save this event, try again in a few minutes"
I really need to know what to change in my settings to solve this. I have searched for how, something about API, etc., but I don't know how to fix it. Thanks!
Maybe Google’s Sr Privacy Atty can help you get your Google Calendar to work again so that you and Google can know all about your appointments, interests, and personal contacts:

Like I said in my post; I can’t avoid it as the tool for my business uses it. No choice. I still have to fix it. When I see Google’s or Amazon’s or FB’s CEO faces, my blood boils.
“...the tool for my business uses it”
Holy crap, Batman. As in “YOUR”, you own the business? If so, you chose poorly. Good luck.
On a more helpful vein.
It may as simple as just a slow internet connection. I just created an event and it went through with no problem.
IN the past, when I have had the same issue, it was just a slow connection on my side, or, Google was having an issue and it cleared up in a few hours.
