I hear the same story, told in different ways, all over New York City. Please don’t trigger the millenials. Kate is being a strong, independent woman.

Tell that to the guys that have been beaten down by a wife-induced divorce, and left destitute by the family court system, where she gets the house, the kids, and alimony + child support, and can move in a new guy within weeks.
That’s not even counting potential fake charges of abuse and the alienating of a man from his friends and family by such.
Men are rightfully looking at this scam, and are NOT PARTICIPATING.
And what do you have to offer to assuage the real fears that men have?

Seriously, do not discount the millions of “unwanted” embryos on ice as a wonderful way to make a family.

Men without children seem to never understand the powerful love they will be given when their child is in their arms, their lives. So they live great childfree lives.
Now, women who pursue their careers and have a great time through the early adult decades, often do have serious regrets when it’s too late to have kids.

well, that makes it even worse for the college women then. Then they have even fewer years after graduating college and getting on a career path, before they hit that fertility/men/family/career crossroads, regarding whether then can have a baby.
Bull Crap, nearly ever woman I know who had their kids later in life fell into one of 2 categories....
1) wanted ther establishe career before settling down... or
2) was way too picky when they were young and took them a decade or more to realize they weren’t going to get perfection... believed they could wed outside their league because they could bed outside their league.
Very very few exceptions to this
Too many couples burden themselves with debt or expect relatives to spend huge sums on extravagant weddings when that money could and should be used more responsibly.

I can think of several women who have come onto men-women threads with their guns blazing. Maybe one of the ladies of FR can tell us why men date guys who are not ready to wife them up. Ladies, care to tell us why?

Why would most millennials want to get married? How many of them go to church or believe in God, or Jesus as his flesh incarnate? If marriage is merely piece of paper that you get signed at city hall that may cause you legal troubles later why bother? Men can be wonderful supportive “baby daddies” without marriage, and women can have careers and children. Hook up with whomever you like as often as you like, after all your depo shot and your penicillin are free under Obamacare.
Why would the farmer marry someone who is statistically likely to take the farm that he worked so hard for?
If you get the milk for free, why buy the cow?
Here it comes back to some semblance of morality doesn’t it? Namely, that women need to be very careful and choosy about who she allows to be with her???? And that preferably that person will be her husband????
Men don’t want to overpay for what they actually get.
These are good rules to live by, for women to have happiness and family life. Many women would need to change the type of men they date, in order to get to the point where they can live their lives this way.

The typical single woman over 30 has a high asking price. However, by observing the men’s behavior, we can tell the men think the asking price is too high. Single ladies, especially post 30, it appears increasingly likely that all the men are actually willing to pay for your companionship is long-term dating, no kids. And remember to pay your half of the bills sweetheart.

Here's a clue that could save women like Kate a lot of wasted time and heartache: when it comes to intimate relationships, men want a partner, not a rival. Emotionally, men want attachment, not competition.
