Liberal causes always collide. Proof, as far as I’m concerned, that they’re the wrong ones.

Exactly. Liberal causes generally go against core principles like natural law, logic, consistency and factuality. They are aimed at motivating voters with niche or group interests, not national or jurisdictional interests. When they compete against each other, the conflict and inconsistency is very quickly apparent.
