I thought the story was going to be about an Amish Golden Retriever

Friends of mine have a male Golden who is the most loving dog in the universe. I was strictly a cat person for decades until I met this Golden. He is so NOT aggressive that other dogs can take his food, sometimes right out of his mouth, like snatching a dog biscuit or a carrot. His "dad" calls him "a Quaker."
