Recently watched a BBC Two documentary series regarding our Neanderthal DNA. It was called "Neanderthals - Meet Your Ancestors." It was an excellent program, and perhaps it will show up on PBS or one of the other channels who periodically air British programming.

I d/led my raw file from Ancestry and uploaded it to an independent archaic DNA research project, came up with some other surprises as well.

As more individual Neandertal remains give up their DNA secrets, we’ll find there’s less and less difference.
