Completely agree. These aren't WWII carriers, and even those could survive multiple hits. Hell, a WWII carrier survived a near nuclear hit (
Operation Crossroad) and the another WWII carrier in the same operation took an almost direct strike (450yds from center of underwater (90 ft) detonation) and stayed a float for more than 7 hours before sinking from leaks. The carrier that sunk was also hit and severally damaged previously in the first nuke test of the operation.
I suspect that our modern CVNs are fully capable of taking a lot more damage before they go down.
