You got it backwards. This situation is best handled at the grassroots level by volunteers with no government affiliation.

What you are suggesting is the worst possible solution. If Trump unleashes LE on these people and a protester gets killed then all hell will break loose.

No, the legitimacy and rule of law is now on Trump's side - and our side - the government has far greater resources both legal and of force than volunteers.

If Trump unleashes LE on these people and a protester gets killed then all hell will break loose.
So be it. Far better than when all hell breaks loose because a volunteer - with justification or not - kills a protestor?
