Unless things have changed, you can NOT take a baby stroller ON TO a commercial airline flight. You can take it on the ramp but then you must leave it before boarding the plane with your baby (babies). The stroller will then be stowed by the airline crew and you can get it when you exit the plane at your destination. If the female passenger ignored employees’ instructions and attempted to take her stroller onto the plane, she was in the wrong. If she somehow succeeded in getting it past the airplane’s door, the flight crew would take it back off the plane. It sounds like that is likely what happened and the distraught female passenger fought allowing them to remove it.
Yes.
And the guy should have been arrested.
If I was behind him I’d have called 911 and told them of a psycho on a plane trying to start fights with the crew.
(Probably not really, but still...)
I hate these idiot passengers who screw things up for everyone else with their stupidity and selfishness.
The steward hit the passenger with it, this is all I know.
Maybe she didn’t know the rules.
True enough. We used to travel with three babies. We had a Graco stroller we called ‘The Tank’, which had three seats in it. Going through Disneyland, we loaded that bad boy down with hundreds of pounds of stuff, included big loaded bags of refrigerated food, etc.
Had to check that bad boy, and it was the policy for all strollers, period.
That was one quality piece of gear. Used that for years and gave it away to someone else because after all the abuse it was still awesome.
