I remember riding in a friend’s SS396 around 1968, which had been tricked out. Don’t know how powerful but it was a daily driver.
Once when driving along at around 20 mph, he floored it and I was surprised that it literally threw me back against the seat. I don’t think I could have overcome the G force and moved.

it literally threw me back against the seat. My father had a 1957 Dodge with the Super D-500 Engine which had that effect.
