Disney has dropped the ‘canon bomb’ in favor of the expanded ‘Whatever we say goes’ universe. They already crapped on the events that transpired (Emperor dead, Vader dead, Luke could of assininated every General of the Empire with the help of his force sensitive sister, rebels could of easily imploded the Empire's infrastructure, New Order or whatever is a joke as well as Kylo, Mary SUUUUuuee. etc...)
