So, today we learn that not only don’t cops have a legal responsibility to protect individual citizens, they don’t even have a legal responsibility to protect public order or the general public at large. That was proven *IN COURT* after the Crown Heights riots of 1991 in NYC. Suit was brought against NYPD for not responding to 911 calls about roving bands of blacks attacking occupied homes of Jews or whites thought to be Jews. Guess who won?
