I thought that, too, until I read somewhere he was screaming cuz he was being tased.
You got my curiosity up so I watch some youtube vids of people getting tased and sure enough; some did scream. Some were even over the top like Dao’s was.
It could simply be Dao has a very low threshold to pain so the tasing affected him more severely. I could be wrong about the scream. I still think he set up the whole thing knowing he was going to be injured, maybe even helped the injuries happen, but we know he’s a nut case and doesn’t mind doing things illegal and probably has a lot of resentment built up for the system. I still believe he saw a way to get a big payday and went for it when the opportunity presented itself.
I guess we will never know because everyone keeps saying it will never go to trial so it can all come out in court.
Regardless; he was in the wrong the second he chose to disregard his orders to leave the plane. Everything that happened after that was on him.
