My granddaughter runs along the Charles into Boston——I was horrified when I heard of the murder in Princeton-—one more thing to worry about-——and the young woman runner in Brooklyn was murdered shortly after-——also in daylight.
What a world——and it has been allowed to occur.

..........I see attractive women off by themselves jogging on isolated roads all the time. All that needs to happen is some perv who hasn’t had real sex in years to pull along side and the girl/woman is horribly murdered.
Do the girls/women know this and say “won’t ever happen to me” or do they NEVER watch the news, or what? Shaking my head!

I was up and out by 5 AM in the morning for years. Because my father, who was career Navy and had taught me situational awareness and self-defence, I never suffered any attack.

Bottom line, my daughter jogs all the time with her little Labradoodle that is scared of it’s shadow like her husband. These days, she won’t listen to a damn thing I say! She thinks she’s invincible................all 5’2, 115 lbs of her!!!
No, an off-duty state trooper noticed an SUV matching the description, and the driver at a gas station in Worcester. He wrote the plate number down on his hand. The trooper went to his apartment, and when no one answered, he left his business card with a note asking him to call. When he didn't call, the trooper paid him another visit, and asked if he would voluntarily give an saliva sample, which he did. The DNA matched material taken from under the victim's fingernails. Local and state policed arrested him.

I think there’s a convenience store in the middle of town. It’s the kind of place where you take an insulated bag to the grocery store when you buy ice cream. It’s thickly wooded, the line of sight in the summer is about 50 feet in any direction once you’re off the road.
This young woman was visiting and out for a jog alone. She never had a chance.
