I’m no connoisseur of art. . .but I think this one is definitely lacking! What is the point? We either celebrate Easter or we don’t. Same with Christmas. . . .I hope they don’t have two Santa Clauses front and center this year.

To deny Christ at Easter is to deny Christ period. . . regardless of what some of the people of this country believe.

> Careful ... I re-post a LOT of FR on my all politics all the time FB page. I know people that would never surf a political venue, but they'll accept me.

Oh, I didn't mean that I thought -everything- on Facebook was inaccurate. Only that it's become unreliable in general, which it demonstrably is. Nothing personal intended. :-)

With regard to the site bgill mentioned, I believe it's worth noting:

whitehouse.gov1.info is, according to its own "About this Website" page:

This website is not officially associated with the White House in any way.
And the page footer description of the site says:
This website is not associated with The White House. If you are looking for the parody site formerly associated with this url, you can find it here.
In other words, it was self-described as a parody of Obama's whitehouse.gov website. It has apparently transitioned to becoming a site with selected information about the Trump White House, none of which is claimed to be official or accurate. It's just some guy's website about the White House. I could create whitehouse.gov2.info and do the same sort of thing, and it would be equally valid (in other words, "not".)

So,... when and if I see that "Easter card" posted on the real whitehouse.gov site, I'll believe it's really "Donald Trump's Easter Card" as advertised. Until then, my opinion is that it is merely some other non-White House individual's idea of a nice Easter picture, on an unrelated website.

No big deal, really, but FR used to do a lot more careful vetting before we posted stuff from third-party sources. We brought down Rather that way, etc. knarf, you've been here longer than I have, you know what I mean. Again, nothing personal, just my opinion.

My apologies, FRiends, today CNN is running an article that claims that FLOTUS posted that graphic to her Twitter account. I will accept that in lieu of it being posted on the White House website itself.

Not that CNN is all that reliable, but it's a dead horse.
