Jesus lives, yes, but not as a flesh-and-blood, mortal human being. :)

Jesus lives as a flesh-and-blood immortal human being, that is, a man who died, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead, Who now lives forever, body and soul, and Who is and always was True God, one in being with the Father.

I dare you to say that in one breath.

:o)

Have a Happy Easter.

No, not as a flesh-and-blood, mortal human being ... rather, He's a flesh and bones immortal human being.

Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have. Luke 24:39

At this point in time, there is a glorified human being seated at the right hand of God. The body he has, I will one day have.

Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is. 1 John 3:2

“Jesus lives, yes, but not as a flesh-and-blood, mortal human being.”

While it is true that Jesus now has an incorruptible body, He still is fully human. There is one Man in Heaven. There are many human souls. Many spirits. Many angels. Other beings seem to be described in the Bible as having a Heavenly origin or home. But, at this time, there is one Man. And He is seated at God’s right hand. He has a body. He is not an apparition or ghost or spirit.

He died and rose again. Both His death and resurrection were fulfillments of Old Testament scriptures. And He was seen, after His resurrection, by hundreds of witnesses, including all of the apostles.

He ascended to Heaven, bodily. And He will return bodily to the earth and reign over it for 1000 years.
