This is not a nice word. It is one that perfectly describes the outrageous slanders leveled against President Trump daily throughout the mainstream media. It is the very vulgarity of attacks against him that render his accusers little more than dirty, vindictive hate mongers.
Put this in focus, if you dare.

Yes, a lazy person’s way of saying “salad” and “delicious” in one word.
Also, how to describe Bill Clinton’s love life - salacious.

McD’s french fries “used to be” fresh and hot and crispy and, frankly, delicious for an occasional fast food treat. Now, their latest oil and temperature and time combination merely makes them soggy and saliciously salted slugs of fat.

To find out what the left is doing,
And to know their tactics without out doubt,
Ask what the are accusing the Right of doing,
(And that’s how you’ll find out!)
So to all the salacious rumor mongers,
I say with great crescendo,
Take all those vile projections,
And stick ‘em innuendo.

I wondered about the advisability of choosing this word until I read your entry. For such a time as this....
Utterly brilliant!!
It must receive wider dissemination.

Absolutely correct. We see it every day.
As
left that other site noted above those who accuse the loudest are guilty of the very crimes they condemn.
To put it another way:
We hate most in others what we refuse to admit in ourselves.
A criminal will always seek to hide his crime in someone else.
Because it bears repeating:
To find out what the left is doing,
And to know their tactics without out doubt,
Ask what the are accusing the Right of doing,
(And thats how youll find out!)

Hill’s carpet munching:
At first it was salacious
But now we say “meh”
