He says the Book is $1499. It is $1299 at Microsoft store.

Compares to the MacBook Pro which goes for $1499.

Well, my 2016 McBook Pro is amazing - I find it slightly more portable and vastly more work-friendly than my 12" iPad Pro - which is a good media consumption device but not really all that portable, especially with the keyboard case.

The Surface Book looks like an interesting product. I might try one if I could ever run Linux on it... :)
