Yes they do now. This guy had an empty bottle of whiskey in his postal vehicle.
Now public open container laws vary from place to place.

There are a lot of Baptist in Northern Louisiana. They have dry Parishes up there. Parishes are the same as counties down here.

I didnt know that LA had an open container offense law, even if the open container was in a vehicle.I remember a gas station in Louisiana that sold frozen margaritas. No open containers for them. They put a plastic lid on the cup, and then sealed it with scotch tape.
